"Brazilian Waxing has become a staple of the modern woman’s grooming routine. We understand that waxing is very personal, so we are committed to using the highest quality products where sanitation and safety is a priority. Our mission is to offer a phenomenal waxing experience at a reasonable price in a relaxing environment". - Tera Wilson, Licensed Esthetician

What kind of wax do you use?
My wax of preference comes from a small family business that started in Melbourne, Australia in 1965. All the professional products are salon tested to be perfectly safe and effective. It is an organic, natural product and the company uses environment friendly practices. None of the products are tested on animals ever.

Okay! … But exactly why is it so special?
It's a combination of technique, products used before during and after. We have a variety of wax on hand according to each clients skin type or wax preference.

Is it sanitary?

Let's just say my stance on sanitation borders on OCD. I always wear gloves when performing bikini waxes, and I have a strict no double dipping in the wax pot rule so it stays germ free when doing bikini waxing.

Is it going to hurt?  I’ve heard horror stories!

I’m  not saying a bikini wax is a walk in the park, but trust: I’ve got the 'painless-as-possible' thing down to a science, and have mastered all sorts of techniques to minimize the 'ouch' factor and retail items that make your experience much more comfortable. A pain reliever/anti-inflammatory can be taken 30 minutes prior to a waxing appointment to minimize discomfort. Still worried! We have a prep kit that numbs the bikini area available.

I can't help but feel a little embarrassed. What should
I expect?

Don't worry—I’ve seen it all, and I mean that in every sense of the word. Relax......its just wax!

Basic Bikini, Brazilian, Venice Triangle, Hollywod Strip....how is a girl to choose?

It's totally up to you which style you fancy.
~ Basic Bikini is for those who have had laser hair removal or clients with minimal hair on the sides.
~ Brazilian is every nook and cranny.
~ Hollywood Strip is all hair removed from top to bottom with a little strip of hair.
~ Venice Triangle is a favorite all hair is removed from every nook and cranny, with just enough hair to make a V.

How should I prepare for my waxing adventure?
First we recommend the area be clean. In order for waxing to be successful, the hair needs to be a minimum of a quarter of an inch or 10 - 14 days of hair growth. This rule of thumb especially applies to first timers who have a history of shaving.

Shaving in between waxing will interrupt the growth cycle, making you more prone to ingrown hairs and make your next waxing experience not so pleasant.

If you are hungover, tired, under the weather or mid cycle you will be more sensitive during this time so perhaps... you want to pick a happier time to get waxed.

Once we are all good to go...breathe and relax to create a softer body and you will soon see the your experience isn't so bad.
